Touch of Comment on life of 'Digital Influencer'

Often people might ask you what you do for living rather being a social media influencer?

Social media is still fairly new industry, earlier everyone used to pursue their careers as doctors, engineers, lawyer etc.
When it first came into play, everyone was mesmerized by the power of creativity and the compelling nature of social influence. I often question how social media would influence the values and behaviour of society? It is still so new that I don’t think we can make any conclusive statement just yet. But we’ve certainly seen some unhealthy trends come from these platforms including excessive vanity abandoning one's own morals, reviews, value and perhaps the most toxic of all, the council culture which is born out of a place of judgement and is a form of internet bullying. So I don’t blame some people for demonizing social media altogether but at the same time I don’t think that antagonizing these platforms is the most productive thing to do.
Social media is a tool like money and when someone gains too much money too quickly, of course, they would overspend and perhaps not be the best stewards of it but it’s not the money that’s evil it’s the love of the money that motivates people to do evil. But with the right stewardship and responsibilities, money can help millions of people and change the world for the better and so it is with social media rather than condemning the space we all have the responsibility to redeem it.

We think that no one will read our words or care about what we have to say so we voice our opinions recklessly without giving thought to the weight of our words the scriptures say that life is in the power of the tongue.

Every content, video, the image you publish every comment that you post has the power to affect at least one person so take that responsibility seriously and do everything out of love knowing that your words and actions can impact on someone’s life.
